Philosophy of our Program

Little Feet Little Faces Preschool is focused on the whole development of your child, with the use of our creative and extended academic curriculum.

Our approach of the program is based on an emergent curriculum which focuses on the children’s interests and ideas, intertwined with developmental knowledge and cognitive, emotional and physical milestones and finished off with some artistic flair!

Our Program is developed by qualified and trained ECE (Early Childhood Educators) as well as OCT (Ontario Certified Teachers) Bachelor Qualified Teachers. They take their extensive knowledge of child development, psychology and pedagogy and mix it with the children’s ideas and interests to create an amazing curriculum.

Give your child the chance to attend a lesson taught by an Olympian, a professional dancer, an accomplished artist or a musician with low student teacher ratios that captures their imagination and wonderment. Be surprised by how much their academic learning is supported through the arts by the reinforcement of foundational language and mathematical concepts in our artistic subjects (For example, counting to 8 for choreography in dance, discussing 2 and 3 Dimensional shapes in Visual Art class).  Present your child with the opportunity to try new things, maybe they are a mini Picasso but have never been taught the skills to apply. Perhaps they have a natural rhythm as a dancer yet they have never been in an uninhibited environment where they are encouraged to let go and be creative. Creativity and Imagination are key components of a young child’s life – give them a great start by enrolling them at Little Feet Little Faces!

Personal and Health Care

All children at Little Feet Little Faces are encouraged to develop their self help skills to become autonomous and independent learners. Our teachers use modelling and examples to showcase to children the correct way to dress, enter play group situations, share, negotiate and work together with their peers to obtain what they desire. Children are transitioned with their teachers through the toilet training stages in a positive and nurturing manner. They are taught to wash their hands and to take care of their bodies. They learn about correct nutrition in both class times and snack / meal times.

Our programs allow parents to feel at ease, knowing that your child achieved
everything "All in a day's play".

Below you will find your child’s group, weekly schedule. Upon enrolment you will receive a package with your child’s personal daily school schedule to correspond. Happy learning!
